In Queensland, a schooner is a size of glass used to serve beer.
If you go to a pub and ask for a beer, you will normally be asked to clarify whether you would like a "pot" or a "schooner".
A "schooner" holds 425ml of liquid (or 3/4 of a pint) and a "pot" holds 285ml (or 1/2 a pint).
The term "schooner" is also used in NSW and the NT, but in SA "schooner" refers to a glass with a volume of 285ml.
Pronunciation: /'sku:nÉ™/ or sku-na
